2013 Sale Season - Help me find a sub £1k road bike please.

Quite a few threads on here of late have discussed road bikes at around the £800. Browsing various stores has dug up a few tasty offerings but I am conscious of people's advice that the sale season is nearly upon us.

It would help greatly if people could post up links to stores, and ideally specific bikes, offered in sales to help a novice locate the best deal.

Proper sales won't start until Sept/Oct time so you've got a wait yet

And that's on the assumption they've any stock left. If you're of "normal" size (and therefore frame size), you can pretty much forget it.

Even if you are abnormal. I tried to get a 61cm Spesh Allez and they were all sold out back in May.

The limited edition one. Annoyingly their 10% off online offer has just finished. Is the team carbon bike worth the £300 over the ltd edn?
