2013 Rockshox Pushloc Remote

Hi All

I'm new to the biking forum I usually hang out over on the TVR site.

Has anyone any experience with the new type RS pushloc remotes as opposed to the older Poploc's ?

I've got a 2013 Cube Reaction GTC SLT and the fork remote has failed after only four rides. Does anyone know if the is a more substantial replacement for the poxy nylon internals?

I had original poploc fail on a set of rockshox reba sl forks. I replaced with pushloc type with a metal thumb lever.



Bit bulkier but much better'er

I've been looking at them but just needed to know they work. As the old Poplocks won't work with the newer pushloc apparently?

Poploc pretty much ruined my SIDs; it worked for a while but any dirt seized it up. Pushloc is not a lot better as the weakness is in the return spring on the crown. If they've sorted that out, they might be worth a try.
Pushloc levers also fit on Matchmaker bar clamps which is good if you like tidy bars (my brakes and shifters are both on one clamp).

Don't suppose you have the original silver Pushloc clamp still, like the one in the 2nd post in this thread? If so, would you exchange it for a donation?

Blimey, I have the one in the first link as standard OEM kit on my 2011 bike. Didn't realise that they are £45 each for replacements!!!!
Thought they would be about £5. It's only a plastic lever!

Better treat mine with a bit more care then!

Hi folks,

I have some Reba Teams from around 2008. I'm wondering if I can implement a remote lock out thing. They've the 'Black box Motion Control', but that's all I know off the top of my head.

I've seen a few options for sale. I'm assuming that I need a remote on the handlebar, some gear sleeving, a gear cable and is that it?

I can't recall the adjustment on the forks being spring loaded, so how does it ever return if I wish to undo my settings?
