Bottom bracket stuck - any hints for shifting??

Have just tried to remove the bottom bracket on my Yeti 5, and its stuck. Crank came out easy enough, and the BB is hollowtech-type. Have done this many times before on other bikes with no probs, so have applied the right tool and turned in the right direction - different thread each side. But its stuck fast - any hints, tips???

Will be replacing the BB so happy to destroy it in the process of removal - molegrips??? What I really don't want to do is damage the frame in any way.

Using the right tool? clamp the tool somewhere and turn the frame? more leverage..

In the past I've gripped the bracket in a vice and turned the frame.

As above. Soak in loads of Plusgas and leave it overnight. Then a good quality spanner and a long lever. Don't do what I did and take a drill/hammer/hacksaw/TNT to it. This will not end well.

I remove stuck BBs with a pair of 2 foot Stilsons, just be careful when you put the jaws on so they don't mark the frame.

I have once had to knock the bearings out and hacksaw through the cups, then chisel the bits out, but that was on a 30 year old frame.

Might need to soak overnight and try this. Leverage on the tool isn't a problem as it starting to tear into the metal, so need to grip the bearing tighter.

If it's not a carbon frame, a hammer. Hit the end of the BB tool - not mentally hard, but you're looking to 'shock' it free. Can often work when just pulling will not.

Can you flatten off two sides of the BB and then get a good old grip in a vice rather than chewing it up with the tool?

I know you've said it already, but just double/triple check you are turning it the right way (down at the front)

Just took it to my LBS. Application of custom socket + airgun = appropriate use of proper tools + BB extracted with no frame damage. One side came off with socket and lever, but the other side needed the airgun.
