[Correction - its a crono mag, not a crono fluid]

Has anyone else got one of these? I'm not having a lot of joy with my purchases of Turbo Trainers, My Trax Fortius was a disaster and this ones not being much better.

Basically, assembly couldn't be any simpler - just 2 screws, but the wheel doesn't line up very well with the rear roller. I've tried a couple of different wheels but they all align the same. Any thoughts? Have I somehow scr3wed up the assembly or is it faulty? Its hard to tell from the photos, but the wheel isn't even central within the rear 'struts' let alone the roller mechanism.

Should be central. Which screw holes did you use? I have mine on the rear pair for 700c. Are you missing one of the rubber feet underneath?

I used the rear holes (also 700c wheels), but rubber feet are there. Looks like the wheel is not even central between the rear arms so I think the frame is miss-aligned/bent frown

I really am jinxed with them - took me 2 months and threatening calls from my credit card company to get my money back from Bike24 DE for a faulty Tacx Fortius they sent me frown

FWIW Mine looks the same too, but as it didn't seem to be causing any particular problem I just went with it!

You need to loosen the roller underneath and reposition it until the wheel is centred onto the roller

I've moved it as far as the bolts will allow but ( in my view) it's way too close to the edge of the red gel roller part frown

The wheel is dished correctly isn't it?

Pretty sure mine is adjusted as far as it would go too. Not quite as far over as yours, but certainly not central on the roller either.

On the quick release side of the arm, prise off the end cap on the tube and see if you can remove any spacers. Alternatively the receptacle that holds the QR has a bolt running through it, there might be spacers behind that. If this sits further in it would bring the whole bike over to that side allowing the wheel to sit in the middle.

My wheel doesn't sit centrally either. I think it's down to the plastic arms being slightly bent/twisted (which I think could be caused when the trainer is in the folded position). I don't notice a problem while I'm using it though as my weight and the forces seem to push everything down so it levels out, although the wheel isn't in the middle of the roller.

Had a look at mine and there's no spacers behind the end cap. The metal receptacle has nothing behind it either so can't be moved any further 'inboard' from the default position. Had a go a loosening the bolts underneath and trying to squeeze it any further over as per manual, and removed the wheel and reseated it in the frame a bit - resulting in it sitting slightly more centrally, but still 2/3 of the way over:

Cheers for the helpful advice folks. After some further fettling (and blatant ignoring of the supplied instructions) I've gained myself a few more mm by removing the supplied washers and I think I can just about live with it. Fingers crossed.

ProBikeKit kindly forwarded me installation instructions for a completely different turbo trainer as an attempt to help - DOH!

Hi, I have similar issues with my elite trainer. In that the rear wheel seems to sit totally wrong and when I'm on the bike it feels as if the bike is tilted to one side. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi there,
just received this trainer from Wiggle. I have been unable to attach the resistance wheel to the attachment. The screws provided to do so seem to be too short? Does anyone have any advice? thanks
