Bike friendly hotel in Paris

I'm trying to make 2014 a memorable one as far as adventure and cycling goes. I've camping with some mates at Harewood house to watch the Grand Depart of the TDF - but I'm also trying to round it off with a London to Paris ride, potentially solo, to also see the closing stage!

I'm hoping somebody can point my in the direction of a pretty central hotel, price range of around £80pp pn, which are friendly enough to allow me to store the bike in the room. Surprisingly there's plenty of hotels left, but would rather avoid emailing loads of them to see if they'd be OK with this.

Any shouts would be appreciated.

I'll probably start a separate thread later, but any experiences or comments on the London - Newhaven - Dieppe - Paris route would be good too.

We're booked for Dieppe-Paris late May, staying at a Campanile Paris - Saint Denis Quai-De-St Ouen through Booking.com, stupidly cheap. (45 Euros per twin room).

We decided to go 2nd bank holiday weekend, Sat night ferry, ride to Paris Sun, overnight, then back on the train Monday for the 6pm Ferry back. Obviously the Monday is not a bank holiday in France to the trains will be running

Our booking is free cancellation and you don't need to advance book the ferry, so can be cancelled if the weather's pants.

Think I've found a place now. Spoke to the hotel this evening and although I can't store the bike in the room, the guy told me "we 'av a room for your bike in the hotel".

It's insured. I'd rather the bike was kept in my room though if I'm honest. Nothing booked yet and still lots of choice out there, so we'll see.

Continental Europe is much more cycling friendly, look for "Accueil Velo" in the hotel blurb, or "Bett und Bike" in Germany

The hotels generally provide a locked room at night, but take your own coil lock. Accessories and stuff fine to leave attached, but I wouldn't leave a Garmin unit unattended

I`m interested in Paris too - have a look for `Avenue Verte` & you`ll se a guide for London - Paris with lots off main road/cyclepath routes to the city.
