Flood info around new Forest / Bournemouth

I can tell you that the entire section between Bramdean and Cheriton on the A272 is flooded, or was on Sunday when I rode down there. It shouldn't stop you, but it's around 6 inches deep for a couple of miles.
Also, Twyford was completely flooded too, very deep. Still passable by bike, just, but you have to be very careful. I don't imagine either of these floods have subsided during this week.
I mention these places as both lie between Alton and Lyndhurst, roughly where you said you'd be passing. Ride safe!

It's not hard really, I sometimes cycle down to near Alton as it's where I am from and I have a lovely scenic route down there!
Anyway, why don't you just head down to Brighton and back, will be around 100 miles and not flooded I don't think. Or head out Ocford way, Marlow and Chilterns would be ok.
