Road biking from centre of Seville

I'm off to Seville for four or five days over the weekend. I've found a decent road bike hire place near the hotel. It's an *ahem* work trip, so I'd probably only get a couple of hours in each day on the bike before breakfast.

Does anyone know if this is feasible/sensible? I really CBA if I'm just going to end up in London-style traffic the whole time. What's Seville like on that front?

Seville is an amazing city to cycle in. It was recently voted 4th in ranking of best cycling cities.

I was there in the summer, I didn't get a chance to head out of town into the country side, but if you have an hour spare cycling along the river is amazing. Sneaking out before breakfast cruising along the river is a lovely way to wake yourself up.

Due to the city's great cycling infrastructure there are plenty of places hiring bikes.
