Phone app 'sent cyclist on M25'

A man has been found cycling on the M25 in Surrey after an app on his phone sent him there by mistake, police said.

Drivers saw the man on the hard shoulder near the junction with the M3 during rush hour on Tuesday morning.

I once followed a route, took a wrong turn and ended up on the M3. Because I'm not a moron I stopped then turned round and retraced my route. Why couldn't he.

It's because some people believe what their electronic device tells them rather than believe their own eyes. When satnav first came out there were people driving into rivers because they were routed that way by their units.
