Please Recomend Frame and Fork for Flat Bar Road Bike Build

I've just rebuilt my old road bike onto a new Ribble Sportive Frame - it would probably have been cheaper to have sold it/thrown it away and bought a new bike, but I've enjoyed doing it, I'm pleased with the results and I feel it's "my" bike rather than something I just went out and bought.

I'd like to do the same thing with my 2005 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid to make a nice light flat bar road bike - I've replaced most of the groupset over the last 18months or so with Tiagra 4500 components and flat bar shifters that I've nabbed at clearance sales or from Ebay. I intend to replace the Cable pull BB5 brakes with Shimano M615 hydraulics and get a pair of wheels built with Mavic CXP33 rims and XT hubs.

Not sure what to do about the frame. The original frame is heavy and has a steel fork. Looking around I see I'm spoilt for choice for conventional road bike and MTB frames, but little available for a frame only purchase with flat bar geometry and disc mounts on frame and fork - I guess a cyclocross frame and fork may be the way to go but don't really know where to start.

Anyone done this or able to recomend a frame/work ? Budget upto £400, ideally less.

It'll be a lot easier, much lighter and cheaper without the discs. Sure you want 'em on a road bike? Deores sound a tad overkill!

With V brakes choose any road frame + carbon fork + stem to fit. I've a Giant Rapid which is essentially a Giant Defy with a 1" longer top tube.
