Advice please on possible TT bike purchase. Trek Concept 7

I've been really getting into training with the goal of competing in Triathlons, Only for personal challenges but I'm at the point that I'd like to buy a dedicated TT bike. I have been looking at Cervelo P3's but Ive also come across this Trek concept 7.

I've spoken with a bike shop and they have said that both bikes will fit me fine ergonomically with a bike fit session and Ive found this example that I'm massively tempted with.

Does anyone have any experience with either or any words of advice?

I've got a 9.9 SC. Good bike. Only issues I have are the brakes and lack of adjustability and how hard it is to recable. Aero wise they're likely much for much.

That Trek is the first TT bike that I've come across that I have really likes cosmetically. I do really like the P3's but that Trek just looks like an awesome bike to me.

This may also encourage me that little bit more to train harder to make full use of it. Just a shame its a 3 hour drive away :/

I think you should certainly go and see it. I have a TT bike, am 5.10 and I run a small frame. Its worth seeing if its going to be right for you as its a lot of money.

I''d wait until the end of the season, there are always loads of bargains as people who bought expensive bikes at the start of the year with the intention of getting into triathlons suddenly lose interest once they realise that its not about the bike and sell it. I have a friend who paid peanuts for an almost new Kuota at the end of last year. He kept an open mind regarding brand and looks, colour etc and ended up with a bargain

Try cycling weekly, the time trialling forum, 220tri etc and the other forums, good bikes often appear in the classifieds and the prices are favourable compared to ebay which is everyones default source, sellers know this and set stupid reserves and too many bidders get excited and inflate the price beyond what is reasonable.

The trek is one of the fastest frame sets out there. That is what priority should be IMO. I wouldn't ride a kuota anything let alone over this frame which is right up there.

This is why I'm drawn to it. I've hounded the internet and forums and found lots of other models but this one ticks all the box's. Its still had no bids and I'm off for the next few days so will decide tonight I think.
