From the Tour de Suisse this time.
Amazing riding skills. So, so close and lots of pushing and bumping. I was just waiting for a wheel to touch - just mms away from a huge crash at times.

No only gets like that towards the end when there's a sprint in the offing.. more aggressive than it looks from the long view on TV though!

The closest I've ever had to that cycling was during the 2011 Giro d'Italia amateuer stage. It was my first race and over 500 riders set off at once. I ended up in one peleton and got into a good rhythm.

Before I knew it, I was cruising along at 55-60km/h on a flat without any effort. I almost shat my pants at that point!!!

I've also had some great peletons in Spain and during my last race (La Sufrida). I came 230th out of 600 riders which wasn't bad over 127km. The climbs were ridiculous though!

Great footage, gives a real insight into the sense of speed and tactics of racing. That's what I'd like to see more of on the televised coverage.
