Mountain Biking in Cardiff

I'm working in Cardiff all week so thought I might as well throw the bike in the van for some sunny evening rides. Is there anywhere I should take a look at that people suggest? I will probably only get chance for an hour or two so nothing too extreme but up for a bit of exploring / trial centres, etc.

There are a few trails in the forestry up at Castell coch.
If you want a bit more of a work out then head to Cwmcarn http://www.mbwales.com/en/content/cms/Centres/Cwmc... and ride the Twrch trail or Cafall trail, both are abot 14-16kms and take aout 1.5-2 hours but will reward.
alternatively if you want a trail centre then Bike park wales is your mecca. http://www.bikeparkwales.com/
All of these are within 20 mins of Cardiff.

BPW uplift finishes at 4.30pm, but I think they do an evening uplift session on a Thursday. Well worth a visit if you get the chance!
