Just rode some of the mtb trailes. As a newbie, I was very impressed with the set up. To begin with I did find the beginner trails quite challenging but after a few laps I really enjoyed them. The downhill section was awesome on my 29er. I tried some of the more challenging trails but as I am still recovering from knee surgery, I stopped after one lap. Amazing how much you can actually learn if you just get out there and go for it.

I cant wait to go back again!

No, or maybe yes-and-no - the Olympic MTB races were held at Hadleigh Park near Southend. The Velopark is the new trails and road circuit surrounding the Velodrome in the Olympic Park.
