Carbonzone clinchers

just fitted ghese Carbonzone clinchers. 270 pounds all in. Look great and the quality looks good. See how they ride tomorrow.

Is that for front and rear? What weight are they?

Front and rear yes. 1600g ? Far sports are liighter but cost a fair bit more. 50 mm clinchers

Cheers I look forward to seeing your wright up. I assume they have specific pads to go with those rims, how long was delivery?

Scewers and pads were supplied with the wheels and delivery took 8 days. Package passed thru customs very quickly with no other charges. Carbonzone were good to deal with as well

You say they are clinchers, so they have an aluminium rim? Has it been painted or coated like the Mavic
Exalth? Look the nuts for £270 all in, do they do a Campag hub?

Just answered the rim question myself by checking their ebay store, Bassalt black rim surface. Really interested to know how you get on with these. Couldn't find out whether they were Campag compatible though?

Just got back with 50 miles under the wheels. No snapped spokes., brake track still in tact with the rim, still true sofar all good. Brake performance is ok but not stunning. Should be better with some different pads. Early days but impressed so far. Sorry about the pics guys not sure why they are inverted

I'll let you be a guinea pig for these, but I reckon I'm going to have some for the S2 once I've sold the Ksyriums... they look brilliant.

They would look even better with the tyre logos aligned to the valve (as per the law)..
