C2W scheme - bike buying advice

Hi,

With a companies C2W, is it possible to purchase more than one bike, as long as they come in below the limit? The wife wants to know, as she can out with me the other day on her BSO, said 'this is fun, probably be better with good bike though'!

Halfords told me I could get more than one. I doubt you can get one that's obviously not for you though, after all it is for you to use on commute..

On my last C2W Halfords was not on the list, they used to be on the Cyclescheme plan and would let us buy anything, bikes, tools, garage equipment, trailers lol.

Guy at my place bought a pink shiny bike for his ten-year old daughter.

Apparently, Halfords said they have to disclose what was purchased and it's up to the company to take action, if any...

Yes - A friend did this two years at Halfords.

One Mans boardman MTB for him and one Womens Apollo MTB for his girfriend - Sum total was just under the £1000.

I dont know which actual scheme his company used, however I believe Halfords just took the view that he could buy whatever he liked as long as his C2W voucher amount was sufficient.

What I'm keen to learn this year is can I add an addition £1500 to my voucher to buy a full sus MTB?!

Halfords' letter explicitly says no to adding any money on. It was only a month ago, it's fresh in my head!

It's all down to the bike shop you register your C2W voucher with. I recently got a full carbon full ultegra 11 speed road bike with carbon rims for my £1000 voucher:-)

I obviously had to bung a few quid in extra. Some shops are happy to oblige some are not. Howlfrauds would not be my choice. But that said last time I went into my local branch I noticed they had some desent bike!

Your leasing the bike from the company it's never your's untill the end of the term once you've paid the 10% fee to make the bike yours.

Saying that I got a Spech Tarmac from the scheme *cough*
