Just wondering if anyone else suffers with this and if so, what alleviates it?
If I don't get any exercise for a few days I get terrible pains in my legs. (I put my back out before Christmas so I've had to take it easy) The pain feels deep and is the length of my thigh. There is no position that eases it and it makes for sleepless nights...
Obviously, getting some exercise makes it go away but I suppose I'm curious to see if I'm not the only one.

There is a thing called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness which might make sense - when you exercise consistently you are keeping your muscles functioning so the "delayed onset" part never happens, but when you stop exercising, the pain would come after roughly 48h. But that is the extent of my knowledge on the subject. There could also be nastier explanations such as Fibromyalgia but that wouldn't be such a localised pain.
So - see a doc.
