Tool kit recommendation

Guys,

Looking for DIY tool kit where I can do my own mechanics on the bike and also build one up scratch (not literally)

Can anyone recommend me a good kit with all the bits I will need; I see Wiggle/CR/Evans all have some sort deals going on but not sure which are better from the bits and quality.

Budget is around £50

Some of the bundled ones are OK, although cranks and bottom bracket standard keep changing so either make sure it has the bits you need or go for a more basic bundled kit and get specific items as you go.

Else buy separately a decent set of allen keys, a chain tool, a chain wear gauge, a chain whip & cassette tool, a bleed kit (if you disc brakes - epicbleedsolutions.com kits are good) and a set of cable cutters. With that you can tackle most common bike jobs including day to day / month to month jobs. Beyond that you get into weighing up the value of buying tools versus getting the bike shop to do it - things like headset presses, crown race setters, press fit BB tools, etc tend to be pricey to buy and rarely need to be used.

Only piece the Jobsworth kits lack are a set of cable cutters, everything else is fine.

My side cutters and cable cutters came cheap from Toolstation. Silverline, about £8 the pair, work a treat, even on SP41 outers
