just completed my new trike build

I have just finished my latest bike build and this time something a little different. it has been designed for an elderly friend (80+) who still manages to cycle into town each day to collect his shopping etc. however he has Parkinson's disease and so a 2 wheeled bike is getting a little hard to cope with. Not wanting to loose his mobility I have designed and built the bike below. he would not entertain a mobility type trike and wanted something with a little style. It has a scratch built frame with full ackerman steering, disc brakes on the front run through a splitter and drum rear brake with latching parking brake. three speed hub and low gears as he is unlikely to exceed 10 mph.

I love stuff like this.

I have no need for one but really fancy a Butchers & Bicycles leaning trike. They look great fun and I could shunt the neighbours' kids around in it when they all come out for a loop.

Interested in the rear hub. Was it chosen (over a disk, for example) for the handbrake facility or is that accomplished by the lever?

Also, I have an idea requiring a hydraulic brake hose splitter too - nothing like this (I want a braked trailer). Where'd you get your splitter from?
