Anyone know a bike shop in that neck of the woods where I'll be able to pick up a cheapish road bike next month?

There is a big Decathlon just outside Mazzaron at the Medietrano shopping centre.

+1 re the Decathlon. There's a shop run by a really helpful English fella in La Manga but that is a few miles up the coast. Great place to ride.
