Many a road to light (light suggestions)
Discussion
Any recommendations for some good front and back lights (doesn't have to be the same brand), criteria:-
1). Pretty bright as they will be used for a 4 day Audax LEJOG in a few months and the roads will be unknown to me.
2). I currently have a Lezyne Micro Drive on the front which has a metal body with plastic screw battery cap meaning the plastic thread is very soft and hard to align and beginning to erode. Therefore no recommendations where the same metal to plastic problem might occur thanks!
3). USB rechargeable.
4). Run time of 5-6 hours. I would like a realistic run time rather than the bullsh*t the manufacturers claim!
Thanks in advance.

I think your last criteria may stuff you up. I have some USB rechargeables that last that long on flash/strobe, but can't think of much that does on a steady; I may well be proved wrong though.
Is there a reason you have ruled out battery lights? I have a slim rear one that fits a seat stay takes 1 x AAA battery. You could carry 2-3 batteries for that and have plenty of run time, I would have thought. Obviously the front needs more oomph so that you can see, so can't suggest much there.
I use the ebay chinese CREE lights with battery packs for my front lights. They last about 3 hours on constant, plenty bright enough for road riding. You probably don't want to lug two of them about though.
