Thank you to the moronic cyclist who over took me on the level crossing at Wylam. No wonder you lot get killed. Follow the Highway Code.

Poor attempt at trolling is poor.

Lazy bunching of all cyclists together as if 'borg' like entity of single thought and action. Generic ignoring of the fact motorists jump level crossings - and get killed - also. No mention of road tax.

You just don't get the quality of wind up merchant these days. It's a lost art.

Nice, celebrating someone's death...

In fairness - does he say he gets killed, or is he just saying he did something stupid, prior to making some generic statement about cyclists...

Dear Mr Bell,

On behalf of all cyclists the world over may I offer our heartfelt apologies that one of our fold has slipped so far from the exemplar standards that we expect, nay demand. If it pleases you I shall have said perpetrator swiftly executed for inconveniencing you in such a manner. And as compensation for your distress please feel free to avail yourself of our wife’s or boyfriend’s - whatever your predilections may demand. It is but the least we can do.

Yours Sincerely,

The Legion of Cyclists.

No worries OP, you were too busy applying your makeup in the mirror, thought I would nip round you when the barriers went up.

I wonder if the Audi subforum gets this too?

"Thanks to the Audi driver who tailgated me. And the other Audi driver who cut me up. And the other Audi driver who was so busy looking in the vanity mirror that they swerved three full lanes of the M4 and didn't even notice."

If a person jumps a level crossing, it makes them a fking tossbag idiot. This is a problem with fking tossbag idiots, not with cyclists.

I do guess the 4x4 forum gets trolled too.
The other day i went for a lovely walk up the Goyt valley. Sadly there was evidence that "one life live it" wkers had massacred a bit of the hill - so the council had added large (non local) stones, spoiling the feel of an otherwise lovely area.

I couldn't get too worked up though - after all i was walking, and there was evidence other walkers had been fkwitts and had dropped crisp packets etc.

Strange that whilst we all recognise that wkers will always be wkers - it seems wakers with passtimes different to our own seem to get people's backs up quicker...

Very poor effort OP, no real attempt at any swearing. Stay after the bell for detention. 2/10

Seriously, OP. I saw a car run a red light yesterday. Does that make all motorists stupid? Do I think is it any wonder they all kill? No, because I'm able to differentiate the actions of one person from that of a group. If you can't, aren't you the one who's stupid?

And yet there are substantially more motorists who kill cyclists each year (about 100) than cyclists who commit hari kiri by overtaking at level crossings.

Most common causes of death or serious injury to cyclists:
1. Motorist emerging into path of cyclist
2. Motorist turning across path of cyclist
Source: RoSPA

Level crossings accidents don't even make their long list.

I don't think celebrating anyone's death is particularly acceptable.

Overtaking a long line of traffic stopped at a level crossing by crossing the double white lines, carrying on to cross the stop line while the barrier is lifting and the lights are still red and across in front of the first vehicle is acceptable.
