Out of date sports drinks...
Discussion
I've got some out of date powdered sports drinks but, surely, they'd still be OK to use, as they're dry powder? The main product in question is Science in Sport GO Electrolyte.....recently discovered this in the garage, had been opened before and used about 1/3 of the 1.6kgs tub and been in garage for about 12 months, maybe more, its best before date is 17/04/2015 so not long out of date.
The other is a "my protein" protein powder, which actually expired in November last year, but if I recall the expiration times on the protein powder is far shorter than the SIS stuff (think that GO is over 2 years old, yet the protein was purchased earlier last year).
Am I going to die? I'm sure it'll be fine....!

Found this :
Typical values per 100g
Energy 1558kj/367kcal
Protein 0.0g
Carbohydrate of which sugars 92g
Fat 0.0g
Fibre 0.1g
Sodium 0.6g
Which means it`s basically sugar & salt.
Not a bad racket at around £15 a kilo!
Not sure what product that's for, but it's not for either of the 2 I've just mentioned, and I certainly don't pay £15/kg either. Typical values per 100g

Thanks for the useful post
