Manchester to Blackpool charity bike ride 12th July
Discussion
Evening chaps and chapettes! Just wondering if anyone from the PH cycling massive is doing this charity ride or if they have done it in the past? I shall hopefully be sporting my PH jersey (as soon as i can get rid of the god awful ones work have provided)
The furthest I've ridden is 40 miles so far and I wasn't hanging out of my arse even with quite a few hills and a headwind!
Would be great to meet some fellow PH'ers!

Did this the other year, it was fab. No matter whether you're a hard ore lycra-ist, or a fat bloke on a BMx - you'll meet people doing similar.
That year, the headwind into town was a b
d, but it was a great day out. If it's sunny be careful tho.. I got quite interestingly burned!

Jesus Christ! Was anyone brave enough to slap your arm? I'm hoping to do it in around 4 hours. Looking forward to it now. That year, the headwind into town was a b

Unfortunately I'm part of a team from work and most of them are the numpties you describe! And I don't get to choose the start time
Oh well. Stay near the kerb to avoid being knocked into oncoming traffic or leave them at the start.
At least most of them want be joining you for the ride back
