Need to get kitted out from top to toe but don't really like online shopping as sizing can be a pain ! Can't be arsed with returning stuff etc frown
Can anyone recommend somewhere well stocked with a good range of stuff.......tried a few places, smaller shops with limited stock but i really wanna do it all in one hit smile Even tried Station Cycles in Histon Cambs which describes itself as a superstore but even there they had limited choice and what i did see that i liked they didn't have my size smile

Location wise i don't mind travelling a bit but thinking Herts,Essex,Cambs,London and maybe even Surrey or the like smile

Any suggestions welcomed ! smile

Decathlon would be good for this.

Another option is the Evans shop close to Gatwick, this is next to their warehouse so you can have them pick anything you like from stock which takes a few mins a bit like Argos. You don't pay right away though, you can look at as many items as you want and get what suits. Do some research and they will price match other online retailers there and then.

Another vote for decathlon, they have everything from top to toe. Some of their more expensive stuff gets really good reviews, and beats some of the higher end competition

Rutland Cycles at Grafham would be worth a visit.

Or Evans in Milton Keynes XScape, maybe?

If you really want to travel pearl Izumi have their outlet store in Gunwharf Quays Portsmouth they also produce shimano products and some team wear. I'm off there to kit up in a couple of weeks but last time I was in there I was impressed with the discounts and some of the Clipless shoes were half price.

Where about's are you? Norwich has Pedal Revolution which has lots of Endura,Santini, Bontranger and some other stuff I can't remember. An Evans cycles which has Gore and Castelli, a Cycles UK which has Castelli and Specialized and a new Halfords bike hut place with loads of Sportful. All within a 10 minute walk of each other.

The Decathlon at Surrey quays is about 10 x the size of the one in croydon.

Geoffery Butler's in croydon is by far my favourite place to buy from.

On the Herts/essex border by Stansted airport.....wasn't aware of Decathlon but seems there's one within half an hour so will have a look soon smile

The cheaper decathlon pad are pretty crap - I had a set of their entry ones and after 20-30miles it was useless. I bought a set of the 700 series bib tights for winter and they're awesome. Blue thick pad which looks like it's in these shorts - http://www.decathlon.co.uk/520-cycling-bib-shorts-...
