Garmin Connect Strava - Not syncing

Hey Guys,

Monday morning my commute uploaded to Garmin connect no problem but didn't make it over to Strava... the way home all synced perfectly as usual (morning ride never appeared on Strava though).

Yesterday all synced as expected.
Today... my morning commute is on Garmin connect but not strava.

Anybody else having this issue or know how to resolve it?

Sometimes their servers are a bit slow or down. Have had this a few times before, although not lately, where the ride took a few hours to sync over

I've had it occasionally, I import any missing rides when it happens.

I'm a real Strava nerd, I don't ever ride without Strava so a missing ride would really bug me.

I'm convinced I nailed a segment this morning too so keen to see it upload!

I'll keep waiting then, hopefully the ride home kicks it in to life, if not I'll do it manually, thanks guys!

I had the same issue on monday. Worked fine today but you'll need to manually import whatever it missed.

Yep not working for me either. My wife also uses Strava and i think uses it to make sure i've not been knocked off on my way to work as she emailed me asking if i'd got to work ok. It's still not showing on Strava now.

Why don't people just manually upload files in strava? Its by far the quickest and easiest way surely?

If you have a Bluetooth Garmin, and you've paired it to your phone, then uploading is (usually) automatic as soon as you press stop at the end of the ride.

Just this. My old Garmin didn't so I bypassed the Garmin site and uploaded straight to Strava. Upgraded just for this one feature...mostly

Same here so uploaded manually, normally the auto load up when I am back in the house beats me closing the garage door and getting showered.

For a good while it was neither quicker, nor easier to manually upload data. The auto-synch feature was quicker by a country mile, and would be faster than I could click through to the right screen. By the time I got there all I had to do was check it had the right bike for the activity and edit the ride name.

Now? Not so much. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Even when it works, it's terribly slow, so I've gone back to uploading files manually now. It's no hardship, really - first world problems, and all that...
