My wife wants to join me on some MTB rides so we bought here a new Spesh. She hasnt ridden a bike in 10ish years so it was a shakey start but we got going. She had a puncture, not a problem Ill whip the spare tube ou, be on the go in 5mins except she has a 650b and mine are 26". I think because it doesnt look that far off mine I just forgot they were different( hers are skinny semis, mine are 2.3 knobblys). Just by luck I found a very scruffy sticky patch in bottom of my Osprey, it held! Off to buy some tubes this weekend! Evolution has just got more expensive and making my backpack heavier lol

26" tubes work fine. Most of the guys I ride with who are now on 650b bikes are still using their old 26" tubes.

I was out with my mates on my cross bike (turned out to be a bad idea) and got a flat on my 700c wheel. a 2" wide 26" fitted in no problems. In fact it's still in there now i ought to give it back to him.

They're a bit fiddly to fit as you have to put the tube on the rim first but definitely no issues.
