...yet another thread full of morons who have an irrational hatred of cyclists and can't grasp a few simple rules that are meant to help us to all get along safely on the roads... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ...It never ceases to amaze and sadden me just how disinterested in the act of proficient driving some of these so-called petrol-heads really are.

I don't mind them passing me so close, it makes it easier for me to punch through their window and rip their windpipe out. s everywhere, it doesn't matter what mode of transport they've chosen that day. Genetically challenged van drivers, suicidal pedestrians, school run monster truck driving facebooking wes, stupid clueless red light jumping yoghurt knitting Day-Glo BSO riding turnips. Kill 'em all, I say.

I don't go on there any more. There was one GG poster who'd pop up all the time, he really doesn't like cyclists. I think his wife ran off with one tbh. ETA: Nigel Worc's, that's the one, always him, selfish idiot.

But then there's a lot of thick selfish idiots about. Some drive cars and vans, some ride bikes, some are in GG and other places.

I do find though that the PH jersey gets me just a bit more space and a couple more seconds sometimes out around some of the roads that are great to both drive and ride, when being passed by people pressing on.

My God, that was a seriously depressing read!
I wrote out a very serious reply and to normal people it made perfect sense, but to the posters there waste of 10mins of my life typing!....I deleted what I'd typed... you cannot explain to fellow humans with that type of mentality!
I used to own motorbikes when younger but sold the last one 10 years ago when pressure of life made me conclude justifying owning it was getting expensive. I own a car as well but that's not fun but a practical piece of needy modern day living.
What I'm getting to is the morons on that thread have seriously little of real life experience of using the roads except from the protection of their little tin vans, and cannot even begin to understand how they behave to other fellow humans puts others in danger because they simply DON'T CARE!
You will find that these type of people are just a section of selfish sad people who live sad uninteresting lives, and to be honest Guys/Gals that get out on their bikes regularly should not let saddos like them get to us, we live far better interesting and healthy lifestyles we should just step back and let them bleat on with their bile!......rant over!!

I stareted to read it and found myself becoming more and more worked up so i didnt finish reading it but I got the main gist of it. Selfish clowns with a high opinion of their self and a high diregard for others. It was a very sad read........

I've just added details of an extremely unpleasant experience I had last month, I now await the wave of people trying to defend the indefensible...

Why do you all do it to yourselves?

I've seen many threads on Facewk & the like in a similar vein but I just ignore them - the great unwashed can't be educated.

Unless of course you're up for a bit of trolling, in which case it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

OT but is that Nigel chap the one who had the run-ins with a cyclist on a footpath a few years back (or was that someone else).
