toe covers for spd's

in another thread people are talking about winter clothing...
the one item that i am interested in are toe covers. the problem for me seems to be that i am using spd's and a number of toe covers don't really seem compatible with them as the break up the base of the covers. the only ones i have found on this 'ere internet thing are dub toe covers. they only seem to be available from wiggle and they don't have my size.
does anyone else have experience of toe covers that work well with spd's that they would like to share?

Do you mean overshoes? If so then I would have thought that there would be loads that are compatible with SPDs, given that they are by some distance the most popular clipless pedal. Nope toe covers...... I use Castelli Toe Thingies with my spds.
They'll probably not last that long if I walk on them a lot -they have a hole for your cleats but the grips will wear the bottom out. To be honest they don't seem to make that much difference, I used them last Sunday and my toes seemed no warmer. Not sure they're a good buy but I'm not quite ready to break out the winter boots yet.

If your shoes have heavily ventilated toes they do make a decent difference. I have some Endura MT500 neoprene overshoes, that fit over my Shimano MO77 SPD shoes. Damn tight fit though.
Ive used them for a few winters, but last year finally spunked up the dosh for proper Northwave winter boots (an SPD pair for MTB and also a SPD/Sl pair for the road bike)
Got some of those Northwaves downstairs now waiting for it to get a bit colder. Never really got on with overshoes on or off road so I thought I'd give them a try based on a lot of recommendations.
