Longest mudguards

I'm after a set of really long mudguards to minimise the spray thrown up over my feet. Any suggestions?

I'm also looking at buying a Cube Hyde which has 28 x 2.35 tyres so they'd need to fit over these.

I think you might struggle with this if you keep those tyres on. Up to a 40c tyre, no problem, SKS trekking 45mm or several other options. There are wider options out there, but mostly for 26" or 650b wheels.

With those tyres it'll either be an ugly 29er with not much coverage, or something expensive like Gilles Berthoud who do up to 700x60c, which depending on the actual width of the inflated tyre still might not be wide enough. Then add flaps.

You'd also need to consider the width and fitting at the fork crown, can't see any pics on line of this part of the bike. For example, my London Road can easily take 2"+ tyres, but I can't get wider than a 45mm guard under the bridge.



So change the tyres imo. The right tyres will be lighter and just as comfortable imo (if run not too high pressures) and fit conventional full trekking mudguards.

I have seen folk attaching those ass saver things to their guards which almost then go down as far as the tarmac, could be an option?

SKS Longboard goes very low, especially at the front - it's almost touching the floor. They only go up to 45mm width though which may not be enough for those big tyres.



SKS Bluemels aren't quite a long but do go up to 53mm width.
