doesn't help your feet or legs... But not having a soggy crack can be a blessing when you still have 30miles to go!

don't just have it permanently "out" it will look naff

Works fine on my road bike and mtb bike better than nothing,never gonna be a good as proper mudguards and for a quid handy to chuck in camelbak.

I find they do the job. Nowhere near as good as full mudguards, but fine for a road bike that doesn't have mudguards.

They do what they say on a road bike. Your bibs stay dryer and cleaner. You still get sprayed up your back and it doesn't help the bike at all but you ass is saved.

Have one on the SS mtb. Keeps crap off seat (when out the saddle) and minimises ditchwater enemas (when in the saddle). Worth a £1 oh yes.

This ... Permanently installed currently as my summar bike, road bike, is my winter bike, commuter bike, do everything bike ... but doesn't take full mudgaurds and I wanted to avoid the clip on ones. Ass Saver was one option and it keeps the worst off, so in a 20kms commute with 28's on I'm getting the outside of my backside with some splashing, but the central 'crack ' area remains free in sodden roads currently. Splashes still occur up my bag, but that waterproof so no issue.

Definitely worth it ....

Yeh cheers for the heads up, I reserved 3, gave the Mrs the reservation code and told her to go and pick something up from Halfords and pay them £3.

2 hours later I get 2 txts:

1- 'At Halfords, been here 25 mins and they can't find it. I hate Halfords, they are fking useless!'

2- 'I wasted an hour of my day to get and pay for these!! Did you know what you had ordered?'

So lucky for me I now have some and I didn't have to deal with the monkeys at Halfords

I must have had a duff one, I used it for a few weeks then folded it under the seat once an it was a floppy waste of time that ended up getting binned.

However for a quid they are handy if you either leave it in the outward position all the time of sling it in a bag when not in use.

ditto a fan.. it's not a mudguard, but it stops me from having a squelchy chamois, and an a**e crack full of grit.

They are also useful to cut and fit to the bottom of existing mudguard to provide additional length.

So long as you accept that if it is actually raining you need proper mudguards, they do keep the seat of your pants from picking up the rain/spray/mud that wet roads chuck at you. I keep one in my drawer at work in case I get caught out.

mine lives on the commuter, folds away when dry, stops me getting a cold wet arse when it's wet, weighs the square root of fk all, can't think of a reason not to have one unless running full guards.
