Keeping legs warm on a MTB (leg warmers?)
Discussion
My fair weather, lower body MTB gear consists of some Endura shorts and liner and five tens.
Now its cold I want to protect the lower legs - ordered some Endura trousers but at 6ft6 they are too short (and I supspect most will be for me)
So does anyone use leg warmers? Seem an easy way to cover up the leg to stop the wind and always take them off if I heat up....but do they stay up/slide down? daft idea?
I suspect full leggings will be too short for me as well and are a lot more £££ than £20 leg warmers

Some stay up better than others, as you'll read from the reviews. Never had a problem with my Castelli Nanoflex (used on my road bike). They are windproof, water resistant and have a warm fleecy lining. On light rain the water will bead off. When it's proper pissing down they'll eventually soak through, but they stay warm when wet. Magic!

Being a roady 1989-1993 it was an easy move it put baggy shorts over tights in 1994, it's funny how men now let fashion prevent them from being warm and comfortable.
That's what I do. I've an old pair of thin non padded bibs that are perfect under a pair of thin not very baggy, baggies, or indeed a padded non bib lycra short. Knee warmers (that work fine under lycra) fell down under baggies.
