Fitbit Surge to log rides

I have a Garmin vivoactive which in all the reviews I read gets a better rating than the surge. Also you can connect it to all the Ant+ sensors for heart rate, cadence, speed etc. And it's a good watch too.
I also got a handle bar mount for a couple of quid on eBay so use it as a cycle computer too.

I have a 510 and a Vivoactive, the Mrs also has a Vivoactive for running.
Vivoactive works perfectly well, not used the Surge but Id stick with Garmin. Fitbit is more consumer activity lifestyle from what I hear where Garmin has years of building this sort of kit...
However Garmin are releasing a new Vivoactive in April. It looks very good and initial reviews are great, its basically the Vivoactive with built in HR sensor and many other features. Also Vivoactive battery is great, I wear mine everyday and use it in the gym every morning with my HR strap, the battery lasts about 2 weeks....
