My ride to work in photos.

I'm back on the bike to work, bit tougher this morning after 4 pints of Doombar last night...I'm lucky that its a lovely route, so thought I'd share.
Outside the house, along the Lane, we live in a dead end with a private lane, nice and quite (although wasn't when I had a Chimaera)

Into the Royal Victoria Country Park, chapel is the remains of a huge military hospital built for Crimean war soldiers.

Leaving the park and arriving at Netley Abbey, where I grew up.

Past the cake shop (mustn't stop). Mmmm buns, nom nom nom.

Hitting the open shoreline. Best bit, not too much head wind this morning.

Passing Grumpy's car parts, Tony is in fact a nice old boy, he's been running that shop for over 40 years and is in his 80's. Don't mention the Tories!!

King of the castle, top of the Itchen Bridge, looking across Southampton, all down hill to the office from here.
