Evening Chaps,

Going to start cycling to work via the gym each morning and need a suitable bag for my gear. Been looking on the web and can find lots of small rucksacks and then lots of HUGE hiking bags, but cant identify anything decent in the middle.

I will be carrying, 15in Macbook, Lunch box, change of clothes and pair of trainers, Microfibre towel, toiletries and other minor bits and pieces.

Anybody else carry a fair amount to work and if so, what bag do you use? Ideally I require one with a built in rain cover and straps across my chest and waist.

Thanks.

15" laptop gets old in a hurry when it's on your back, had you considered getting some panniers?

Cheers that bag looks decent. I'll take a look at their site....

Panniers weren't really an option both bikes I'll use are carbon roadies, so didn't want to put racking and shelving all over them!

How big's a 15" MacBook? I just got one of these which is ideal for commuting and only £30!

I used a cheap bag from Sports Direct for years. What I would say, is rucksacks in general do make you very hot. Work looking at the crurved rucksacks that sit the main body of the rucksack away from your back to allow a bit of airflow.

Thanks for your advice chaps. When I get home next week (Currently skiing) I will have to visit some stores and take a look for myself, Its hard to imagine the size of some of these bags as volume in L's doesnt mean much to me sat here....

Thanks.
