Has anyone used a carbon grip paste to stop their carbon seat post moving in the tube? I have tried the Finish Line Fiber Grip product but it hasn't worked. After applying to the post and inside of tube (as per directions) when sliding the seat post into the tube, the grip paste is just pushed up the post and down the tube. The QR is fully opened but the fit it just too snug to allow the paste to get between the two surfaces - certainly any of the gritty bits that presumably great the bite to stop the post moving.

Has anyone had this issue and come up with a solution.

Thx

That does make sense I guess, would act as lube until it, quite quickly after, set.

I used nothing and it never slipped ... I bought some of this as I thought 'I should use it' and I couldn't stop it slipping so I went back to the previous solution!
