Looking for some feedback form those that have recently had some wheels built or are currently building.

After some digging I'm now looking at DA9000 hubs. Tune and Royce have both been considered; tune not keen on the shimming and Royce a little on the HD side. CK also ignored as I can't be bothered with the regular maintenance and special rebuild tools? Rims, Ryde Comp Sprint seem to be a good basis for a light build? The Archetype is also on the list but probably more of a training rim? Laser spokes 24/28. All in around £600 - 1400g which is still less (and lighter) than a replacement set of Fulcrum Zero's, plus will be serviceable. Summer wheels only so not overly worried about wear.

Are there any other choices which for roughly the same price. I love the Royce hubs but will wait to build a set up for the Mason disc, that's the one that's going get lots of abuse in stty weather.

As I said on the other thread DA with SL23's circa 1400g, nice and wide slightly aero rim for £550 from Malcolm. DA hubs needs checking for play but shouldn't need adjusting, quick job if that's needed. Just don't kill the freehub!

So all confirmed.

Ryde Pulse Sprint/DA9000/Laser spokes. £550 all in. The 50mm carbon clinchers are interesting, I have an 808 with G3 which I never use so with the funds from selling that it might all make sense.
