Family cycling in France

I'm off to France at the end of June for nearly 3 weeks roaming around in a camper van with my wife and 2 year old daughter. She's in a trailer which she is well accustomed to and will quite happily sit in for parts of a day out with stops for picnics and views etc on the route. We are off from Zeebrugge down into France taking in a couple of stops on the way (not yet firm on location) before we get down to Geneva and then take a route through the Alps taking in Morzine, Chamonix, Briancon etc. before coming back to Annecy and Chambery and then making our way back to Belgium.

I know that its high country and know all about the Alpine climbs (i'm a roadie and i'm gutted that I can't take my road bike on the trip) but i'm wondering if there are any well trodden cycling trails in the Alps which are trailer suitable?

I usually look for cinder track, as my wife is a casual cyclist. We've done routes around Dalby forest, the route around Kielder water, and last year we took her over Loughrigg fell (not entirely suitable for the trailer but it was an experience for her!). The routes are usually anything between 10 and 15 miles.

I don't know those areas for cycling but my experience of cycling the Atlantic coast around and north of La Rochelle are that the French understand cycling infrastructure better than we do.
