Want... Want... WANT!!!! N+1 time

We've seen 26", then we got 29", then 27.5"...
Then we got Fat Bikes... Then we got Plus Bikes...
All just ways of getting more money out of us for little or no difference, or so I thought!
Today, a nice chap at Cannock Chase let me try out his Stanton Switchback Ti (I think) Plus bike hardtail. This was only going up a stretch of fire trail between singletrack sections, and the £1,500 frame obviously helps, but Jesus!! It felt absolutely effortless, and as smooth as if it had been levitating an inch above the trail!
I've tried a Fat Bike before and was left distinctly underwhelmed, but this thing was just staggering!
Does anyone have a relative they'd like bumping off in return for one of these with a Pike, a Thomson dropper and 1x11 gearing?

I could have done with a fat bike, or a 'plus' bike last night. It might have saved me from a sore knee. Idiot-features 'ere was taking a drink on a sandy trail when the front (650b) dug in on a particularly soft patch of sand and the bike jackknifed. My rising knee hit a descending handlebar, the rear mech ended up covered with powdery sand, and I (literally) ended up with a mouthful of sand. To add insult to injury I had to act all cool and nonchalant about being unintentionally off my bike, because a rather attractive lady was heading out of the wooded section I had been heading into...
...play it nice and cool, Trig, nice and cool, y'know what I mean.

My riding buddy has a Salsa 29er he's converted to 650b Plus with WTB 2.8 tyres - he loves it to ride but he says the big down side is puncture after puncture. He said in 3 months on the plus bike he's had more punctures than 3 years on the regular 29er. The problem is because plus bikes are advertised as more trail bike than fat bike they have kept the tyres light weight, result is crap puncture resistance, p.s. This is running tubeless, tubes I can't imagine the ball ache.
So nope, I have no 'Want' for a plus bike or fatty or 29er. I already have quite a selection:-
Planet X Pro Carbon Ultegra (off the shelf)
Ribble Audax (Ribble bike builder)
On One Inbred 26" single speed (built from frame)
On One 456Ti 26" (Built from frame)
Commencal Supreme FR 26" (built from frame)
Vitus Rapide 275 carbon 650b (off the shelf, but single ringed)
Ragley MmmBop 650b (built from frame)
NS Snabb T 650b (built from frame)
Do I hanker after anything else, yes want a 160/170mm travel 650b Enduro bike, top of the list is an NS Snabb E frame built to my own spec, I enjoy specing up and building bikes you can make them exactly what you want for a certain situation. You can always 'do' with another bike, N+1 and all that :-)
