Quite cool way of showing your rides.

Just tried it on my way home last night.

Bit dull as it's just me doing laps of Hyde Park until I'd done 20k, but looks much better on interesting rides.

Hope this works.

Here's mine from the Monster sportif last weekend. Not quite as grand as the Dolomites, but still a tough little bugger.

From my nightmare ride a couple of weeks ago...

https://www.relive.cc/view/624362929

...it was a 106 mile ride in the end, but it had taken so long (15 hours total) that the Garmin battery died at 73 miles. frown

I like "relive" a lot, but it could do with tracking a wee bit lower, like a TdF helicopter tracking shot maybe? Anything to help you feel more 'pro' wink

At least then there'd be a bit more detail. Short rides, especially short MTB rides 'doing loops' in the woods look pretty pants on it, longer rides certainly use it to it's best advantage...

That is by far the best I have seen and more like the TDF one on ITV4 each night.

It does say you cant go back to old rides but I just re uploaded my favourite ride to Strava from a few months ago from my Garmin and because relive perceived as a new activity I still got the video.

Would be nice if it had some music though.

been using it for about 3 weeks , however most rides in Essex look pretty dull on it like this https://www.relive.cc/view/640740717

So after reading the above i went onto Garmin connect downloaded the .tcx file of my favourite ride last month in Gran Canaria , then went onto Strava , deleted the original ride and re uploaded . Its worked and i no have the Relive ride i wanted to see https://www.relive.cc/view/641532864

That's Wethersfield isn't it? I was based at Debden (Carver Barracks) for seven years, so I know those roads quite well.

And you are right about t'other one. The Gran Canaria loop looks fab - just what an app like this was made for!

It's the last of the "bloody big 'A' form airfields" left that isn't Stansted, and you'd already narrowed it down to Essex for me, so not as impressive a spot as it first appears... wink

Some of our chaps' overflow barracks and married quarter accomodation was inside the Wethersfield fence, so I used to trundle up that way and play about on the runways and taxiways in the evenings. It's mostly intact and still in very good condition from when the USAF interceptor squadrons moved north to Mildenhall, etc, when Stansted started to grow and interfere with military operations.

Loved seeing today's ride drawn out like that! I commute and.upload both rides at the end of the day, will it just do the later one, or will it do both, does anyone know?

From Relive FQ's:
Your activity should be uploaded as a cycling activity
It has to be public (not private)
The activity needs to be longer than 20 minutes and 20 kilometers (and shorter than 12 hours, sorry for the crazy ones wink
The activity is not tagged as a "commute" in Strava

We'll find out in 11 hours! I don't bother tagging them as commutes, I only do it 2-3 times a week.

Kind of you to say so, interstellar. Though of course the credit goes to the Relive people not to me..

This one from yesterday's granfondo is OK too, I think.

My Garmin froze at the start of the big descent and I didn't stop to reset it until the next water station, hence the straight line. Shame as it missed my fastest bit and, as we all know, speed matterssmile

Works really well where there is serious altitude, not quite as compelling on most of the roads in the UK though.

For example, here's my Dunwich ride from the weekend, just a bit dull: https://www.relive.cc/view/643507392

Very nice tech though.

Both rides today were around 15 km, so I doubt they'll appear on Relive
