Just spent the week at centre parcs in elveden, Suffolk. Was having a cracking time until last night some scumbags stole my MTB whilst I was having a pint.

Nothing too snazzy, but my old P&J from when I first got into cycling - 2010 Boardman Team FS, it even had my 10month old daughters baby carrier on it.

Keep an eye out if you will...

White flat pedals, chunky Schwalbe Hans Dampf tyres. Not mine, but just like this:

Close to 'leaving day'? Not the 'snazziest' bike in the bike park?

Same MO as when my son's new bike (basic cable disc MTB) was stolen along with my GT from behind the main building near the play areas.

"Security" were not interested, nor were the local police to be honest. Security really means "revenue protection" and they only exist to stop people getting in without paying.

Walk down past the tennis courts, etc, and look down into the stream from the little timber bridge and you'll see that there are dozens of cut locks in the water, if it's still like it was (a good few years ago) when ours were nicked.

Yup last night of the trip.

The onsite security team were dia to be honest, but since April they've had a full time PCSO onsite. Once I got hold of this chap he dealt with it accordingly, but several hours were lost and the bike was likely long gone.

Absolutely gutted, the metal can be replaced by something much better but I really liked this bike and it's such a pain that the baby carrier etc was taken too.
