That's right, I'm about to buy a new bike.
Having ridden mountain bikes since about 1996, I've had a period of 3 years or so where I've bought good bikes cheap and then sold them for a modest profit to up-spec them in to what I really wanted, flogged the lot to help pay for a house move early last year and haven't owned a bike since.

Paying for a new hard tail tomorrow, an On-One Parkwood. Deore build with Rev's and a Reverb, hope it rides as nicely as it looks like it will!

In the past 4 years I reckon I've had upwards of 15 bikes, from Xc to DH with some Enduro on the way, but I've never had a hard tail 29er. If nothing else it'll be a cool way to take my kids out in their trailer.

I'll update with photos (in the relevant thread) when it arrives. I'm excited it must be said, new bike time is always a good time.

Next thread will n+1 when n=1.

Very little out there in terms of reviews but I'll take yours as a goodun!
At the worst it's a well spec'd bike I can whip the frame off and replace with something else if I don't get on with it!

Surprised how slack it is with a 120mm fork, plenty of opportunity to upgrade too.

It's arrived!!

At the office.

And I'm at home on annual leave... Annoying.
Colleague has opened the carton though and reckons it looks alright, happy days.

As long as they don't just take it out for a 'test ride'.

It's the sellers fault "yeah i'll probably post it later on in the week if I get a chance" he says as it gets collected by the courier on Wednesday morning and delivered at 8am the next day!
I didn't expect it to be so prompt especially as I didn't pay him for the courier.

Matey boy put it together at work but it doesn't have pedals so he hasn't ridden it - I asked him to take it home for the night so it would be set up nicely for me when I pick it up.
