Are my Aksiums finished?

Had a set of Aksiums on my 2012 Supersix and they've been pretty reliable. 4 years with only the occasional tweak of spoke to keep true. I've always noticed however that the hubs never ran that freely compared to another set of cheapo felt wheels I have. Recently though the front wheel only does a few rotations before it stops. Am I right in thinking these can't be serviced? If so, I need another set of wheels but can't fit the wider rim widths that are popular on newer bikes due to the lack of clearance. Any suggestions?
