Morning all,

Anyone had any experience/knowledge of the above?

Doing the rounds on Google, various forums etc, there's no official review of the 2016 model. Only one for the Rockrider 8.1 (which I'm told this is just an evolution of).

Looking at the spec this is a quality bit of kit (I think it's an Air fork). And despite the pink accents, the lack of a good, up to date review has stopped me purchasing.

Anyone got any opinions or experience of one would be a great help.

I've got a Rafal 740, which I believe is the renamed Rockrider 8.2. I am very impressed: excellent spec for the price point. In fact, I took it out on some alpine trails this morning!

I only ever hear good things about B'Twin bikes and value for money.

Looks like a nice bit of kit mate, especially at the price it is now. Unfortunately, a little over budget for me.

Has it held up against the punishment?

I bought the 2015 560 and it is a great bike. I still have it but don't really use it now as I have moved on a bit but it was/is a great starter bike and has been 100% reliable despite taking a lot of abuse. Last years 560 though is the equivalent of this years 580 in terms of spec which is much, much better than the current 560 and only £100 more at the moment.
If you can afford the extra £100 go for the 580,it will be considerably better though I'm sure the 560 will be a decent bike aswell.

Brilliant thanks, i was trying to connect to the dots between the previous years model and now. This makes more sense and i can attempt to match the reviews up. The 580 is worth the extra £100 if only for the colour scheme in my (shallow) opinion.
