Oltre or Intenso cv
Discussion
Firstly I mean infinito not intenso..
I seem to be asking a whole lot of questions on this part of PH, thankfully its a more helpful part of the forum !!
As some might have gathered, I've got a few issues with my seatpost alloy insert - whilst im looking to resolve that I've been looking at the Oltre xr1 with chorus. My 928 c tech (08) is a b4p, so presumably has the racier of geometrys, but am unable to find any literature on its geometry to compare to the oltre / infinito cv?
After doing more reading, I'm starting to wonder if the oltre would be the right bike for me, I tend to do 30-80 mile rides on our broken tarmac around the Wiltshire countryside, the occasional sportif etc and think that perhaps the oltre would be too intense geometry / comfort wise. Has anyone got both or ridden both in varying conditions and can give an opinion on whether there is much difference between the Oltre and the Infinito cv?
Cheers...

As you have summarised it really , it depends on what you want racier vs endurance and what differences you would noticeI seem to be asking a whole lot of questions on this part of PH, thankfully its a more helpful part of the forum !!

It that price I would find a decent shop that can advise and have demos on hand (unlikely they will have both in your size there could also be stock issues on bikes
A good shop might point you towards a more suitable bike for your needs
Difficult to tell a bike from bike reviews as they pad in so much guff
Wherebouts in Wilts are you? I'm near swindon

I've read that the oltre isn't that severe as you'd expect. Whatever that means. I found my 928 a bit harsh but had never really ridden a road bike when I bought it, I had to get a slightly shorter stem etc.. I do like the idea of lighter / stiffer / faster / sharper handling though !
I'm in Hilperton, just outside of Trowbridge. I ride with my cousin occasionally around Swin > Lechlade > malmesbury etc. Some good routes up your way !

Hmmm I would try them in person before spending that much , plus you have your current bike as a benchmark
