Pace Cycles - worth a visit?

Hello,
I'm off to muddy Yorkshire in a few weeks for a bit of MTBing, and I'm wondering if it's worth visiting Pace while I'm in the area. Anyone been? Is it just a bike shop full of new stuff or do they have any old bikes kicking around?
I'm stuck in a 90s time-warp (I'll be riding my RC200) so a shop full of new shiny suspension bikes doesn't interest me at all. Although I am a sucker for t-shirts with logos on, if they have any of that going on I'd like to know.

the fork side was bought out by DT Swiss and made under licence I think. but agree, RC100 / 200 / 300 was probably the height of Pace.I have a lovely set of RC36 Proclass 2's on my Zaskar I have just built. Magnesium drop-out and bridge. carbon legs. still look stunning today.

I can picture them, yes theyre certainly lovely bits of kit - Zaskar eh, another blast from my mtb past, my mate had the Zaskar and I had a kula, both used to race dh on them I have a lovely set of RC36 Proclass 2's on my Zaskar I have just built. I think PACE may have moved from Dalby Forest.
I was at Dalby on Saturday and didn't get to the court yard where they were based.
However to get to Dalby I drove through a village a couple on miles away called Thornton-le-Dale and noticed they had a shop unit there.
Perhaps customers having to pay £8 to visit has prompted them to re locate outside the forest.

Only set of 37s I'd seen do it (but the only set of 37s I'd seen!) but I've heard tales of 36s doing it too.

)Pace stuff was absolutely fantastic when it worked. The RC37s were so impressive, however their build quality was properly lacking. I had consistent issues with losing air pressure from new, damper cartridge totally shat out on me, and an incident where I pushes into a berm and the forks just sank into their travel with a loud 'crack' and stayed there, which was apparently due to an assembly part being left in the forks after assembly...
After months and months of issues, I got a full refund and replaced them with something from the Rockshox stable, which were faultless.

price and quality. one was too high, the other too low 
a lot of the older forks were elastomers and would crumble inside. not the best design in the world. still, nice to look at. the Proclass I have are stunning, even by todays standards.For anyone running the old Pace forks, you can still get them services by Fork English. He practically rebuilt my RC36 Pro Class 2's from the scrap they were, with shattered springs and oily sludge! Even pointed out that they had missed a factory recall.
I had wanted a set of Pace forks singe I was a teenager, so when a set came up I grabbed them, I just don;t have them fitted as they wouldn't cope with bikepacking, so await a frame to build up on. Compared to my Rockshox, I can't believe how much they flex!

Update: I went up to Dalby last weekend. Earlier than I planned, but the only combination of accommodation availability and time off work that would fit with borrowing a bike friendly car.
Pace is shut from 3 on Friday until Monday, and thanks to horrific traffic I missed opening time by two hours. Looking through the window on Saturday it was a small shop with nothing in it, and a workshop with a frame and some tools. I don't feel like I missed out. I did get an amazing ice-cream from just down the road, so totally worth going.
Moving off topic: I stayed in Dalby Forest Lodges. It was excellent being on site with all the trails, so I could pop out for a ride when I felt like it without mucking about with a car or riding more than 100 metres on roads. Nice cabin, and I love log burners - so relaxing when your legs hurt and all you can to is sit. It also had a bike shed with motion detector hooked up to an alarm inside the cabin, which is handy.
To anyone else who was at Dalby over the weekend: sorry for being the slow fat tt on the Pace in the Pace t-shirt. The bike got a lot of attention and was quite a conversation starter, which is a shame as I'm a tedious git with terrible social skills (hence staying in the woods on my own for a weekend). I loved the trails, I had the best rides of my life there. There were times when I was bouncing along on the edge of control that I could have easily been sold a modern bike with some suspension and huge wheels, but it was great throwing some old bikes around.
I also took my Orange C16R, and had to true the front wheel for the first time in 20 years after a ride. Such an amazing place to muck about on bikes. I'm going back next year with my brother, to add a bit of peer pressure to do the tricky bits faster than is sensible...

That's cool. I always liked their forks.
