Monday:
Cycling in a bus/cycle lane breezing past traffic that is stuck in the right hand lane when a bus realises he has to move into the same lane as me to stop at a bus stop (bus lane has the odd parked car in it so the bus wasn't driving in it). Bus changes lane without indicating when I am alongside causing me to have to mount the pavement to stop myself from getting run over.

Tuesday:
Cycling towards a red light (50 metres away) in the right hand lane (ahead only lane, left hand lane is a left turn filter). I I'm in the centre of the lane to stop cars from squeezing past me in the same lane (there is an advance stop line at the lights). Some cock decides to squeeze past anyway and shouts "move over you skinny prick" on the way past.

Wednesday:
Nothing to report

Thursday:
A Lorry overtakes me only to turn left 20 yards later causing me to stop.

Friday:
Two clearly unemployed jakes step on to the road right in front of me. I take avoiding action and manage to mis them. One of them shouts "watch where your going you f@@@@@@ prick".

My cycle is a 5 mile ride from a suburb of Glasgow through the east end to the city centre. I actually get the feeling that a lot of road users round here just have a hatred for cyclists.
I have so far resisted the urge to shout back at these cocks but I must admit it isn't easy.

Be more exciting if you illustrated it in the form of 60's batman comic ... Boom / Kapow / Zap / Thunk etc...

Do you not have a Go-Pro on your helmet so you can post the video?

Didn't even know there was a pedal power section. My bad.
If any mods see this can it be moved please.

Monday's bus driver would have found me and my bike blocking the entrance doors when he had stopped.

(I am a fantasist who doesn't even own a bike).

Almost 4 years and 800 posts and you haven't noticed that!

Maybe this lack of paying attention could explain the issues your having on the road...

And cycling down the middle of the road on Tuesday would likely end up in winding someone up.

I only pedal 1/2 a mile to and from work and it's a pain in the arse, dodgy over takes, trying to over take me when I am clearly signalling right to turn into the yard, one of the clients at work did this to me and she knows where I work the stupid cow. nipping past me at the mini round about then having to stop anyway and thus stopping me. One bloke miss judged an over take in his Freelander and hit the curb pretty hard on a traffic island, which if his ranting and raving was understood correctly was clearly my fault.

For the record, I have passed a cycling proficiency test, DSA tests in a tractor, car, motorbike, lorry, have all my CPC's, held a Class A CDL in the USA pulling oversized loads, done 2 advanced driving courses in the car and done Bikesafe on my bike. I also drive big, spiky farm machines most days, have never pickup up any points in 25 years and not made an insurance claim this century.

Not all people are bad by any means and there isn't a type, though mums in mum wagons are often the worst and I appreciate people make mistakes, but FFS why are people so selfish?

Pretty much my experience when cycling.

A disproportionate number of cyclists have a victim mentality.

Find a couple of mates so that you can ride three abreast.
Should make things more interesting.

I'm surprised there aren't more in the OP. I see enough driver numpties on a 3 mile town/city drive.
