Electric Bike Battery

I have a Giant Escape 1 electric bike. The battery is a Li-ION. I bought the bike second hand and really love it. The battery however seams to only last about 15 miles on ECO setting. I think it should be a bit better range than that. I don't think the battery is on the way out, as the previous owner I think charged it before it got to it's low reading.

So a couple of questions:

1) Do these type of battery's get memory stuck if been constantly quick top up charged with out been fully discharged

2) Will completely discharging the battery to flat damage it.

3) will complete discharge then re charge bring the battery back to a more recognised 30 mile distance before recharge.

Give INSAT INTERNATIONAL in Bounds Green, LONDON a call. Ask for Jimmy. They can test and re-cell your battery if need be.
They are well known on the Ebike forums for good service etc. and I can personally recommend them. They made my 48V 13.6Ah unit.

I think I'd be consider that last option. Send them someone to renew the cells. Might gain some capacity over original spec too. Presumably a couple of hundred, which is cheaper than a replacement from Giant, I expect.
