A mate of mine had one .... I saw 'had' because the frame developed a crack after one ride so its gone back for a new model. It had DA Di2 and was/is his intermediate bike ... I must say it looked fantastic ... he said it rode very well ... was on 28mm tyres as well.

Got one. Great bike, very comfortable, but racy set up. Hence the name endu "race".
For value it's unbeatable.

Their site has geometry tables for all the models, so it's easy to work out the difference, for my (2XL) size, the Endurace is about 2cm less reach and 2cm more stack, iirc. The race models are pretty long and low, so I doubt the Endurace would be excessively tall.

The numbers tell you a lot.
Compare the stack and reach figures if the one you want with those of what you already have. It's really not that hard!

Its worth having a look at some geo charts to familiarise with the numbers, compare to the De Ribble, the Bianchi etc so you know what its going to feel like. Owners opinions worth very little given we now nothing of their flexibility, or what stem they have put on it etc.

My Ultimate CF SLX is cracked on the headtube..... But that's mostly because I rode it into a fking gate.

Looking at the geometry they are basically "sportive fit" with a pretty tall heat tube, If you do suffer from back issues then it may be a wise move.

Missus has an alu one and loves it, ridden double centuries on it. Bargain bike which was around £800 new but just over 8kg, full 105, full carbon fork and decent wheel.

I've got the disc braked version and the geometry is not far off the Ultimate at all. CRacking bike but wasn't quite as cheap...

I have a 2015 carbon Endurace with Ultegra in stealth black with the red lettering - I absolutely love it. The bike looks amazing in the flesh, and fantastic value too. Be a little careful on the sizing though, from memory when I entered the measurements in on their sizing chart it came up with a frame which appeared to be one size too big when looking at the top tube dims etc. Buy one, you won't regret it!

Based on my friend's June purchase of a bike with a +1 month delivery date, that turned up on his doorstep last week, I'd say the latter.

Ordered 2 in the summer. Both were a 3 month lead time. One came 2 weeks early. One 3 weeks late. Kept up to date on delivery timescales.

They are our 4th and 5th Canyon bikes (road and mtb) and all have been a similar story. Also great customer service last summer for a crash replacement on a snapped fork.

My Commuter was a month late delivery but that was because Continental changed the design of their drive belts. Canyon were very good about informing me of the delay and gave me a free hat

Mate of mine recently bought a new MTB which was listed as "from stock" and it arrived in under a week.

From what I can see they are a lot better than they were a year ago but they have just launched new models and it's the run up to the holiday season so things could get delayed. The online chat (at least here in Holland) is very helpful.

I know Diz doesn't 'do' maintenance or tools so I hope your LBS is happy to work on a personal import.

Not all will , or they will but whinge and moan,plus its a pain when bits break under warranty and you have to send them back

All perfectly doable, but it helps if you are mechanically astute to put the bike together etc

club mate got a canyon recently, he loves it, I mentioned the delays I read on here, but he said he got it in a few days from ordering no issues
