My bike has an aluminium seat post, but full carbon frame, should the seat post have grease on it (I have some of this already....)

or fiber grip

I'm guessing normal grease as it's not carbon-carbon, but would like to be sure!

Many thanks

carbon grip I'd say. It is on mine and it is the other way round, ally frame carbon post.

Fibre grip if you must, is it slipping?

No, but I don't want it seizing either!

Yeh, good old galvanic corrosion.

Give it a light smear and ensure there is a little bead at the insertion point to stop water getting down the post into the frame.

If its not slipping and not slightly seizing leave as it is

If its slipping or seizing just put carbon paste all over it
