Lezyne 600XL - repair?

Looking to see if anyone has taken apart their Lezyne with a view to making a repair.

I tried putting in the USB lead into the port for charging, but it's just pushed the whole of the female socket back into the light.

Everything else works, but as soon as it runs out of charge, I'm not going to be able to charge it.

Can it be repaired - is it even worth it?

And is it the sort of thing that would be covered under warranty? It's hard ot see how I could have caused it by doing anything wrong - the cable was in the right way up, and I've been happily using and charging it for a while now.

In my experience Lezyne are really good with warranty replacements, I've returned two lights via my LBS with no proof of purchase or length of use and had replacements without quibble (from lezyne once the LBS sent them in, not the LBS just dishing out), opening it up might make an easy fix with a drop of glue but you'd void any warranty.

I got the 600 XL when it was on offer with the rear light for £60. The same thing happend with mine so I took it back to Halfords. The 600 XL has now been discontinued at Halfords so they looked at the price of the unit if it was brought on its own, surprisingly it was £60 so they gave me the 800 XL as replacement .

The thing is, its a rubbish charge design and the 800 XL has the exact same charge style so im unsure how long this one will last.
